7/15/2006 ymca touch.
today was the ymca touch competition.
our 1st game was with tp. we lost 2-1. they were not bad a team and from it we cleared some stuff up.
then next was with ite simei. they're supposedly very good. which is true yeah. we lost 2-0, but i felt it was our best game for the day. yikes my knees are still stinging a little from the tiny scratches i got from sliding t touch the girl.
we thought there was only 1 more game after ite simei , but it turned out t be 2. we drew with bukit batok sec 1-1, then later lost t them 2-0. seriously they weren't like the best team ever, but we were really not on form and our performance wasn't very good. they didn't even do any subbing for the 1st game, and had no sub available at all for the 2nd cause 1 of them got injured.
so you can guess how disappointed we were with today. it's quite saddening actually, but since it's over let's not brood over it okay? this is afterall our very first competition, and there will be other chances. we'll prove our abilities the next time round! we should just take this as a stepping stone towards being a better team and learn from our mistakes.
apparently 'a'divs is coming on the 26th. doubt i'll get into the team though, but whatever it is i'm sure we'll all be on our toes. jiayou!
